…to treat with tenderness and affection
…to nurture with care
…to protect and aid
You don't have to do this alone...
Sometimes just hearing the word “hospice” can be scary and cause our minds to kick into overdrive with worry and questions. Talking about end-of-life care and seeking help to navigate the rapid changes can be overwhelming.

That’s where I come in…

I believe that preparing for death is as important as preparing for a birth. My goal is to help optimize quality of life and make the transition easier for both the family and their loved one. I specialize in “filling the gaps” between the services hospice provides and the extras you may need.
If you are concerned about caring for your loved one at home, I would like to help.

I and my
team can...
*help to obtain hospice care if you haven’t already

* meet the hospice social worker and RN with you to develop a care plan

* advocate to assure that your individual needs, wishes, and desires are carried out

* schedule a team for the personal, ever-changing, care needs especially when bed-bound

* set up proper equipment for optimal safety and care

* clarify what to expect throughout the upcoming stages

* carry out care orders from both the hospice Dr. and the RN

* organize and administer comfort medications as recommended by hospice

* provide emotional support for the family
